supervisor for 3 years (1867-69, 1872), Justice of Peace in Jasper 1827, inspector of
elections.
Died at 91 yr, 1 mo, and 21 d. Funeral in Pres. Church on Thu. July
24, conducted by Rev. B. V. V. Putnam of Canisteo. [LWD doubts that he
was Justice of Peace in 1827, when only 11 years old.]
